With one week to go before the rematch between UNC and the dookies this Saturday night in the itty-bitty-tiny shed called cameron indoor, I thought it would be a good time to point out this story in the NY Times (an impartial source to the UNC-dook rivalry I may add). I just love it when dookies go [cheat] through life and act like they are just doing it because everyone else is too. As a matter of fact I wouldn't be at all surprised if a dookie-run team starts a cycling team or a team that employs the likes of Barry "Big Head" Bonds and Roger "shot o'roids" Clemens. Let the fireworks begin!
Note: the one dookie that gets a reprieve because I think he is a good guy and I am sure this happened after he drank water from certain well on the Hill is Jay Bilas.

Recruiting in college sports is crazy. There's a story about Billy Donavon recruiting Mike Miller years ago during the quiet period. During that time, coaches aren't allowed to speak to athletes. However, Donavon waited outside of Miller's school one morning, so that when Miller walked by he could wave/nod at him.
Anyway, this week's game is huge. Pretty much everything is on the line- regular season crown, #1 seed in the East, and perhaps even NPOY for Tyler. I have my last final for this quarter that morning, so I'm going to be sure to enjoy it.
I'm assuming you saw that crazy game yesterday?
Game yesterday was nuts. Rice was ridiculous in the first half. Thankfully BC gave him no help and Oates was so awful I thought he was playing for us.
Game on Sat is very big, although the more I see the dookies play the more I think they are going to get booted in the 2nd round of the tourney. Just not a team made to last.
BTW, if we get a #1 seed for the ACC tourney we are going Friday morning at 1100 am central, so we can go grab breakfast and watch the game then.
duke has certainly appeared vulnerable in recent weeks. However, in their dominant years, they often went through a lull in the second trip through the ACC slate... only to roar back in the ACC Tournament.
More than any other team in the country, with them, I think it comes down to matchups. If they get lined up with teams that don't have the size and athleticism to take advantage of dook's lack of size, I think they can go a long way.
In past years I would have said that you just never know with dook, but I am convinced that this team will not get it done.
After watching the second half of Maryland-Clemson tonight, let me add another reason why winning Saturday is key- the difference between playing Clemson on day 2 of the ACC Tournament and playing anybody else is huge. I don't like the Heels' chances in a third matchup with the Tigers.
