While I am in a posting mood, here is an update on house projects and their up-to-date Home Depot/Lowe's trips to finish the project:
Replacing blinds throughout house: 3 (should have been 2 if I had measured the trouble blind)
New Locks: 2
Paint and such: 2 and counting
Wait, we have been here for almost a week and have done 3 projects? I better figure out what else I have been doing with my time.

You need to have Stephanie's parents visit. Stuff will get done like you wouldn't believe. Since arriving Sunday night, they've painted our office, built a dog-proof gate for the deck, and replaced the flooring in two bathrooms. By the time I get home from work tonight, I think that they will have painted the spare bedroom as well. These Midwesterners are some serious corn-powered machines.
Meanwhile, I'm feeling like a lazy piece of trash, because I'm sitting at work blogging while they're making my house pretty.
Can Stephanie's parents come to my house when they're done down there? I need to repair a bunch of popped nails and get some estimates for someone to come dig post holes and set the posts for a fence I don't really want to build.
